Atlanta Hawks lock in NBA games for CSRA fans in 2026 deal
The Atlanta Hawks and Gray Media have struck a deal to bring live NBA games to the CSRA market in 2026. Regional sports networks will carry every Hawks road game and key home contests, giving Augusta, Aiken and nearby towns direct access to Trae Young’s offense and the team’s defensive schemes.
What the Hawks-Gray Media pact means for fans
CSRA viewers will finally get a dedicated NBA feed without hunting for out-of-market packages. Gray Media’s TV, streaming and radio platforms will carry the games, putting Hawks basketball on par with SEC and NFL coverage in the region. The timing couldn’t be sharper-just after the Hawks’ three-game losing streak ended their recent 2-0 start in the last five games.
Last result: Atlanta Hawks 89-140 New York Knicks (2026-04-30). Recent form (last 5): 2W-0D-3L (LLLWW, most recent first); lost the last 3.
Why CSRA basketball just got a boost
Augusta’s market has lacked a direct NBA feed for years. Gray Media’s reach-spanning TV, streaming and radio-plugs that gap. Hawks executives see it as a way to plant flags beyond metro Atlanta. Local bars and sportsbooks can now book NBA betting boards without scrambling for feeds.
The Hawks’ three straight losses in late April capped a wild swing. They beat Orlando on April 26 to snap the skid, then fell to New York by 51 on April 30. The Knicks’ 140 points were the most the Hawks allowed all season.
What’s next for Hawks and CSRA viewers
Gray Media will roll out channel maps and promos before the 2026-27 opener. Hawks social teams will push local watch parties and player cams during road trips. The first games under the deal tip off when the Hawks open on the road in October.
For now, CSRA fans can stream Hawks games via Gray’s app or tune in on their cable provider’s regional sports tier. The Hawks’ front office says more community events are in the works to tie the partnership to local youth leagues and clinics.
